The PHMC Health Network is committed to reducing disparities in health care access for Philadelphia residents. Our Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) serve a diverse population, including residents of public housing, people experiencing homelessness, non-English speaking individuals, immigrants and refugees.
Our holistic approach to health care addresses patients’ medical needs and the social determinants of health. In addition to primary and preventive care, we connect patients to social services and resources, including access to health insurance, housing, SNAP benefits, legal assistance, and more.
Many of our patients are uninsured or covered by Medicaid or Medicare. All patients receive care regardless of their ability to pay. We accept most insurance plans and offer a sliding fee scale for uninsured and underinsured patients.
